In late October the Australian Adult Industry Awards was held again in Melbourne. The last time I attended one of these was back in 2011, representing Abbywinters. So I decided it was high time to put my frock on and attend.

Lightsouthern was nominated for a whopping 7 Awards…

We managed to escape the strip club with two little diamonds, winning:

BEST PORN PRODUCTION COMPANY

INDUSTRY SUPPORTING BUSINESS

The last time Lightsouthern won anything in Australia was back in 2013 at the Eros Shine Awards where we picked up ‘Best Porn Production Company.’

I’d like to say thank you to the AAIAs for holding the Industry Event (and for making the food spectacular), the vibe of the evening was light and fun – which was refreshing.  Also to you little legends in the public that got on and voted. I appreciate YOU.

Lastly, we were nominated for a Venus Award, Berlin for Best International Series for our Momentum Films, however Erika Lust took that one out – though we were pumped to be alongside such good company.
